Pulau Bunting Bridge or Jambatan Pulau Bunting connects the island of Pulau Bunting to Yan District in mainland Kedah. The bridge was constructed between 2002 and 2005. It is 2.3 km in total length, comprising a 100-meter causeway at Pulau Bunting connected to a 1.8 km bridge and a 400-meter causeway on the mainland. The bridge proper includes a 80-meter arch cable-stayed bridge.

The Pulau Bunting Bridge project is widely criticised as an example of excesses of the previous (as of 2009) Kedah state government. The bridge was labelled a white elephant, and has since proved itself to be one. It does not take an Einstein to be baffled by the purpose of the bridge, which connects the uninhabited Pulau Bunting to the mainland.

Even after the link is established, the bridge remains underused - if at all. Nevertheless, for the sake of tourism, I am describing it here so that, if you are curious enough, you make make a trip to Yan District and have a look at it.
