Perak Visitor InformationPerak Darul Ridzwan is the third biggest state in Peninsular Malaysia. It is where tin mining was first done in a large scale, which brough early prosperity to Perak and industrialization to the country. The growth of Perak stalled somewhat when tin petered out. For the past few decades, the state suffers a brain drain to more developed states to south and north of its border.
