St Michael Church is a heritage church in Penampang district south of Kota Kinabalu. Although the foundation stone of the church was laid on 29 September, 1936, due to the onset of World War II, the church was only completed in 1947.
Getting there
From Kota Kinabalu, take Bus No. 13 from the bus station at City Hall to Donggongon. From Donggongon, you need to change to another bus that heads towards Kampung Babah. Ask to be dropped off at St Michael Church. The fare to Donggongon is RM1.50, one way, while the fare from Donggongon to the church is about RM1.00, one way.
